QA Automation

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications through the design, implementation, and execution of automated test cases.

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Project Duration: At least until December 2024, with potential for renewal.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality of our mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, with a focus on mobile applications utilizing Appium.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes within the Scrum framework.

Requirements:

• +3 years exp. in position.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, preferably Python, or alternatively, JAVA or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver for web UI applications.
• Strong understanding of test case design techniques and requirements analysis.
• Thorough knowledge of testing fundamentals and methodologies, including Agile practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as CloudBees or Jenkins, and version control tools like Git.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• English proficiency: B1 level.
• Residency in Mexico.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with Behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks, particularly Behave Python.
• Understanding of API/RESTful services and experience testing them using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
