Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities and Duties:

·      Accountable for monitoring the productivity and service level of local contractors. Maintain efficient overview of the LOG & OPS operations in the country while managing standardize level of equipment rotation and vessel callings within Haiti.

·      Ensure the vessels get a pilot and berth upon arrival or as early possible. Monitor the Port Productivity.

·      Communicate berthing prospects and actual schedules with relevant stakeholders.

·      Collect daily position sheets received from Head Office for all vessels calling the Ports of Lafito, Port Au Prince and Cap Haitian. Communicate same to the Terminals and Port Agent and ensure that the accurate information flow.

·      LLO compliance at 100%, as per instructions from HO and Regional Unification Team, in regards of the vessels calling the ports of Lafito, Cap Haitian and Port au Prince.

·      Ensure the correct functioning of EDI in Terminals and depots, and the correct updating of container movements.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Management or related careers.

·      Experience in shipping operations, a minimum of three years.

·      Extensive knowledge of Haitian ports.

·      Good organizational and planning skills.

·      Good communication and leadership skills.

·      Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.

·      Self-motivated, outgoing and with a high degree of autonomy.

·      Proficient in MS Office applications
