Sr Foreign Trade Analyst - Mining Industry

We are seeking a Foreign Trade Analyst to join a leading organization in the mining industry.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the full cycle of critical goods import operations.
• Ensure the proper flow of documentation required for each operation.
• Handle the submission and release of documents with Customs and other regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international suppliers.
• Track and monitor shipments from origin to delivery.
• Request international quotations and manage delivery schedules.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the import process.
• Provide regular updates on the status of each operation to ensure the availability of critical supplies for mining operations.
• Prepare periodic reports on import status for key departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Advanced English (mandatory).
• Proven experience managing end-to-end import processes (Mining, Oil & Gas, Agribusiness, or Heavy Industry sectors).
• Strong knowledge of Argentine customs regulations and international logistics procedures.
• Availability to travel within Argentina to active project sites.

Work dynamic:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Hybrid work model: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote.
