Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to collaborate closely with the global Tax and Treasury Department to understand and enhance their critical processes. By leveraging existing technology and identifying new solutions, you will deliver effective and efficient process improvements. This role supports the Manager of Solutions & Insights and works in a team environment with other members of the Tax/Treasury Process and Technology team. Responsibilities include building, implementing, and monitoring tax/treasury systems, utilizing tax software, and managing the impact of other financial systems on tax/treasury processes, planning, and filings.
Primary Responsibilities:
Technology Solutions Development
- Develop and implement technology solutions to support tax and treasury operations.
- Collaborate with Tech and other business teams to design and configure systems that enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate in the development of new tools and systems, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
System Maintenance and Support
- Maintain and support existing tax and treasury technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the tax and treasury functions.
- Apply best practices and process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows and eliminate redundancies.
Data Management and Reporting
- Manage data collection and analysis for tax and treasury activities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
· Compliance and Risk Management
· Assist in ensuring compliance with global tax regulations and standards.
· Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating potential risks related to tax and treasury operations.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and advise on necessary system adjustments.
Training and Documentation
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems and processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure knowledge transfer within the team and to relevant stakeholders.
Project Management
- Lead/Participate in project planning and execution for tax and treasury technology initiatives.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technology solutions.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the tax and treasury domain.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance current systems and processes.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive excellence in tax and treasury operations.
Roadmap Maintenance
- Assist in managing the strategic development, planning, implementation, and monitoring of Technologies to be used within the Tax/Treasury Departments globally to create standardized and efficient processes.
- Maintenance of the Solutions & Insights Roadmap to be leveraged for short, mid & long-term objective setting.
- Ensure alignment of the roadmap with global standards and local regulations.
Global Responsibility
Global responsibility for development of process improvements and the leverage of technologies in tax/treasury processes globally.
Global Presence
Working with global Tax/Treasury Solutions and Insights team members and other global tax/treasury competency team members and manager.
Requirements for the position
· Bachelor in Business, Finance, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science.
· 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions
· Advanced English is a must
· Experience with data base management
· Domain of Power Automate, ETL tools (desirable)
