Customer Service Analyst

We are looking for a Customer Service Analyst to manage logistics operations for an automotive manufacturing plant. The role will be responsible for overseeing ocean freight shipments, ensuring operational efficiency, managing suppliers, and providing top-tier customer service. The position requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to handle unexpected challenges in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Act as a Customer Service Analyst for logistics operations, monitoring and optimizing supply chain processes.
• Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve any shipment-related issues.
• Ensure continuous process improvements, including packaging and supplier management.
• Conduct detailed tracking and follow-up on operations, ensuring a high level of service.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, including daily meetings in English due to the high volume of shipments from China.
• Use CargoWise as the primary operating system.
• Collaborate with management to build a team of four professionals by 2025.

Requirements:

• Advanced English proficiency (90% of shipments are from China; daily meetings may be required).
• Experience in ocean freight logistics and customer service.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, adapting to potential plant shutdowns and operational disruptions.
• Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
• Open to junior professionals with a strong interest in freight forwarding and basic knowledge of ocean freight.
